AE Sewing Machines have over 40 years’ experience servicing and repairing all kinds of industrial sewing machines. We understand that your equipment is a vital part of your business, and unfortunately in recent years skilled technicians have become much harder to find. Our team have a vast amount of knowledge covering diverse textile industries, whether you're manufacturing children's clothing or industrial fabric ducting, we've got you covered. There aren't many problems we haven't dealt with before, so we can be your first port of call when it comes to repairs!

Our highly-skilled and experienced technicians are always on hand to help our customers, either over the phone, at our fully fitted workshop, or on your factory premises. Phone consultations and Facetime repairs are free of charge to customers who have purchased their equipment from us. For other rates, please see below. 

Industrial Sewing Machine Repair/Service Price Guide (correct as of 06/01/2025, all prices are + VAT and exclude parts)

We are able to repair machinery at your factory and we charge by the hour for the travelling time from leaving our Wrexham head office to getting back (return journey). We must also receive a copy of your public liability insurance prior to arrival so we can log it against your customer file. This is to protect both our team and also you as the customer.

Please note: In the event of a repair which may be covered under warranty, travelling time IS NOT covered & must be paid at the above rates.

On Site Repairs / Travelling Charges
Our team provides on-site machine repair services, ensuring minimal disruption to your operations. Travel time is billed hourly, calculated from our departure from and return to our Wrexham head office. To provide accurate estimates, we typically use Google Maps for travel time calculations when issuing a quotation.

For example: Wrexham to Liverpool = 50 minutes therefore total travelling charge would be
100 minutes (2 x 50 minute journeys)

In-house Repairs

Repairs at our head office in Wrexham, North Wales are charged at £75 + VAT per hour. If you can't fit your fully assembled machine into your vehicle then you are welcome to just bring in the machine head (control box and panel required, please contact us if you aren't sure). 

We offer a 10% discount for schools, colleges, and universities for repairs and servicing only. Please contact us directly to arrange this. Please note that at busy times we will prioritise customers who have purchased machines directly from us for service and repair calls. This is to ensure that our customers consistently get the high level of technical support they expect from AE Sewing Machines!

Replacement Parts

We stock thousands of genuine and generic replacement parts for all kinds of industrial sewing machine. If we don't have the required part in stock, we will use one of our many European parts partners to supply the item as soon as possible, keeping downtime to a minimum. 

Qualifications

Our engineers are all fully qualified with City & Guilds qualifications and have been trained directly by the machine manufacturers.We are a full member of the SMTA (Sewing Machine Trade Association), who endorse reputable independent retailers working from offices with workshops and showroom facilities.
